Music Appreciation
Our enriched educational program provides your child with live music. Daily singing and musical activities are always happening.At les Garderies K.I.D.S. we recognize the important role that music plays in childhood development. Throughout the day, our children are presented with a variety of musical styles and sources. Music provides a vibrant addition to our daily activities. The children not only learn about traditional ways to make music, but also discover how we can enjoy music in our everyday lives. Classroom rhymes, songs, and chants are heard throughout the day.
Sleep Time Symphonies introduces young children to the music and lives of classical composers such as Beethoven, Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky. Selections from these composers are played during nap/relax time and meal times. We read stories about the musicians, discuss the times and the places that they lived in, and discuss some of the impacts of their music.

Every day the children participate and engage in live music. Singing along with the music helps develop language skills. Dancing and moving promotes gross motor development.
